Joy wondered over nation`s rapid development

Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) advisor, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, on Friday expressed his wonderings saying, "Nobody imagines about country`s rapid development trends."

Sajeeb Wazed Joy also the only son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came up with the comment while addressing a programme in the capital, this afternoon.

"The development trends after the war of independence in 1971 was so slower in Bangladesh," said Joy.

Earlier on Thursday he opined, "The Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology will be kept free-from corruption."

"We want to keep the ministry free from all kinds of corruptions including prevention of illegal VOIP business in the country," said the PM`s son.

While talking with journalists on the day Joy also said, "My dream is to do something for the wellbeing of the nation."

Joy at that time also sought journalists` assistance for going towards country`s development in future.
