Mild tremor shakes different places

Feni Correspondent: A mild earthquake shook Feni and adjacent hilly districts in the country’s southern region in Monday morning.

The tremor, measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale, was felt around 6:29am, according to Dhaka Met Office.

However, there was no immediate report of any damage or casualty.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 21km southeast of Manikchhari in Khagrachhari and 197km from Dhaka (south-east BMD Seismic Centre, Agargaon).
