SC seeks details about Imran

Staff Correspondent: The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court (SC) has asked the attorney general to collect detail information about Gonojagoron Moncho spokesperson Imran H Sarkar.

A four-member bench headed by Chief Justice SK Sinha came up with the order on Wednesday morning, after delivering verdict on Salauddin Quader Chowdhury`s appeal.

Meanwhile, in a press conference, the Attorney General Mahbubey Alam said the apex court asked him to submit the information about Imran before it.

"Imran made various comments about the war crimes trial in several times. That`s why the court sought detail information about him," he added.
