Walton launches new smartphone ‘Primo ZX2 Lite’

Economic Correspondent: The country`s popular brand Walton has launched its latest and most stylish multifunctional android smart phone “Primo ZX2 Lite".

Featured with Lolipop 5.1 operating system, 6-inch full HD screen, 2.5D curve glass, express fast charging technology, high performance 5020 mAh Li-polymer battery, USB Type C with ‘Express Fast Charging’ technology can charge the phone less than two hours.

The officials of Walton Mobile Department disclosed the distinctive features at the launching programme of Primo ZX2 Lite at the conference room of Walton Media Office in the capital on Sunday. From now, the desired customers can buy this new smart phone from all Walton Mobile branded outlest, Plazas and distributors’ showrooms across the country.

The launching ceremony was attended by Walton Group’s Senior Operative Director M Mahmudul Haque, Operative Director Uday Hakim, Senior Deputy Director Firoj Alam, First Senior Deputy Director Ashik Al Mamun, Deputy Director (sales and marketing of mobile phone division) Md Mahamudul Hasan Helal, model Ishika Khan, Media Adviser Enayet Ferdous and other senior officials of the company.

Highlighting the distinctive features of Primo ZX2 Lite, Senior Additional Director of Research and Development (Software) Department of Walton Group Engineer Ariful Hoque Raihan said, this new smart phone is powered by 1.3 Gigahertz 64 bit Octa Core processor and 3GB RAM to deliver seamless multi-tasking and faster browsing experience.

The screen of this phone is covered by super-tough 4th Generation Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the display from scratches and cracks while 2.5D Curve Glass will be a delight for the users’ touch senses, he said.

The built-in 5020 mAh Li-polymer battery coupled with a high performance and low power consumption CPU provides the phone more than 450 hours of standby time and up to 1350 minutes of talk time, Raihan added.

In addition, type C USB with express fast charging technology is used in Primo ZX2 Lite so that users can charge this phone in less than two hours and also transfer data very quickly, he added.

This phone’s front fingerprint scanner guarantees that the phone will be unlocked only by known finger touches. It will take less than 0.5 second to unlock the phone, he added.

This mobile set features a 16 mega pixel auto focus rear camera and 8 mega pixel front camera with BSI sensor and ultra pixel mode, which will help the users capture images at 80 mega pixel resolution by stitching around 5 images, he noted.

Primo ZX2 Lite has an internal 64GB data storage space based on micro chip, for which the users can save huge files. Besides, the external memory can be extended up to 128GB micro SD card.
