Staff Correspondent: A woman was hacked dead allegedly by her husband at Kalapani in Mirpur area of Dhaka on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Elena Begum, 27.
Sources said that the couple had an altercation this noon. At one stage, the victim's husband Iman Ali attacked her with a lethal weapon, leaving Elena Begum injured critically.
Later, she was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she died under treatment around 5:00pm.
