‘BADC Ready-To-Cook Fish’ handed over to PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received ‘BADC Ready- To- Cook Fish’ equipment and a ‘milking machine’ from Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdur Rahman at a function at Ganobhaban on Thursday morning. 

Receiving those, she thanked Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) and Bangladesh Fisheries Development Corporation for taking the initiative of marketing ‘Ready-To-Cook Fish’ across the city.

The Prime Minister underscored the need for further expansion of ‘BADC Ready-To-Cook Fish’ market for easing the cooking process for the people.

According to the Fisheries and Livestock ministry sources, a total fish 40 species are being sold as ‘Ready-To-Cook Fish’ at Matshya (Fish) Bitan of BADC in the city's Kawranbazar and Jatrabari fish landing stations and 16 other spots in the city by six freezing vans of BADC.

Apart from these, the ‘Ready to Cook Fish’ is being sold in the city through e-commerce platforms. 

Fisheries and Livestock Secretary Selim Uddin and senior officials of the ministry were present on the occasion, among others.
