Ruti Sohel killed in Feni ‘gunfight’

Feni Correspondent: Ruti Sohel (34), accused in several murder cases including Fulgazi Upazila chairman Ekram murder case, has been killed in a ‘gunfight’.
Commander of Feni Camp of RAB-7 Shafaet Jamil Fahim said that a gang of robbers were taking preparations to commit robbery in Birinchi area of Feni town, and a team of RAB conducted a drive there. Sensing the presence of law enforcers, the robbers opened fire, forcing the RAB men to back fire that triggered a gunfight.
Later, RAB men recovered the bullet-hit body of Ruti Sohel and other managed to flee from the spot.
RAB recovered a pistol, a revolver and several bullets.
