Vandalism at court: 5 lawyers get HC's forgiveness

Staff Correspondent: The High Court has given forgiveness to five lawyers after they offered unconditional apology to the court for obstructing court proceedings through shouting and vandalism at courtroom.

The bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Khizir Ahmed Choudhury passed the order on Thursday.

The court also ordered the Supreme Court registrar office to investigate more in this regard.

Earlier on July 10, five lawyers offered unconditional apology to the High Court for obstructing the court proceedings, shouting in the courtroom and assaulting a bench officer.

The five lawyers are Nur-e-Alam Uzzal, Lijen Patwari, Sultan Mahmud, Motilal Bepari and Mohammad Ali.
