$100cr remittance received in 15 days of September

The country received $100.86 crore remittances through the banking channel in the first 15 days of September. In August, the country received $203.78 crore remittances.
This data was revealed in the latest report of Bangladesh Bank on Monday (September 19) regarding remittances.
If the current trend continues, the remittance flow is expected to exceed August, experts believe.
According to the latest data, five state-owned commercial banks received $14.05 crore while one state- owned specialised bank- Bangladesh Krishi Bank- received $1.64 crore.
Besides, the expatriates have sent $84.83 crore remittances through private commercial banks.
On the other hand, the expatriates have sent $34 lakh through the foreign commercial banks.
