11 more die of Covid-19 in 4 Khulna hospitals

A total of 11 more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of four hospitals in Khulna.

The deaths were reported in the last 24 hours commencing from 8:00am on Saturday (July 24) to 8:00am today, Sunday (July 25).

Of the 11 deaths, five died at Khulna 130-bed Covid-19 dedicated hospital, one at 250-bed General (sadar) Hospital, three at private Gazi Medical College Hospital and two at the corona unit of Shaheed Sheikh Abu Naser Specialised Hospital.

Dr Shuhash Ranjan Haldar, focal person at the coronavirus unit of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH); Gazi Mizanur Rahman, proprietor of Gazi medical college hospital, Dr Kazi Abu Rashed, spokesperson at the corona unit of the general hospital, and Prakash Chandra Debnath, spokesperson at the corona unit of Shaheed Sheikh Abu Naser Specialised Hospital, individually confirmed their deaths on Sunday (July 25).
