Truck hits motorcycle leaving three schoolboys killed in Dinajpur

Three schoolboys were killed as a truck hit their motorcycle at Birganj in Dinajpur.

The incident took place at 2:00pm on Sunday (January 02).

The deceased were known as Mozahid, 14, son of Shukur Ali of Sluice Gate area of Sujalpur under the upazila, Shahriar Shuvo, 15, son of Jahangir Alam and Shahadat Hossain, 15, son of Afsar Ali of the same area.

Inspector (Investigation) of Birganj Police Station Sohel Rana confirmed the matter.

He said, “The three students were returning home by motorcycle from Kabi Nazrul Islam High School. On the way, a truck hit the motorcycle leaving Mozahid and Shahadat dead and Shahriar seriously injured. Locals took Shahriar to Birganj Upazila Helath Complex where duty doctors declared him dead.
