Staff Correspondent: Police has arrested Fakhrul Islam Robin, ex-husband and main accused in the murder case of private bank employee Arifun Nesa Arifa from Tangail.
A team of DB police arrested Robin early Friday from Dhanbari area.
The 27-year-old banker, a former student of Eden College, was stabbed on her neck by her ex-husband Robin on March 16, 2017, in her Central Road residence in Dhaka.
After the incident, her friends of Eden College demonstrated near Jatiya Press Club demanding the highest punishment – death – for the killer Robin.
