Neela murder: Key accused Mizan’s parents remanded

A Dhaka court has placed parents of Mizanur Rahman, the prime accused of Neela murder in Savar, on a two-day remand.
Dhaka’s Senior Judicial Magistrate Fairuz Tasnim passed the order after hearing in the case on Friday (September 25).
The accused are: Abdur Rahman and Nazmun Nahar Siddiqua.
CJM court’s Inspector Mesbah Ahmed confirmed the matter.
Earlier, Abdur Rahman and Nazmun Nahar were arrested conducting a drive at Charigram village of Manikganj Sadar Upazila on Thursday night.
On September 20, Neela Roy was reportedly stabbed to death by Mizanur when she refused his proposal of a romantic relationship.
On the following day, Neela’s father filed a case in this connection.
