Cricketers to be tested for Covid-19 on Monday

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had suspended individual training sessions of cricketers due to coronavirus pandemic. The authority now has taken a decision that the players to be tested for COVID-19 as part of the Coronavirus management plan.
BCB took the decision to ensure player safety for training sessions leading up to the forthcoming Tour of Sri Lanka.
The sample for COVID-19 test will be collected from National Team players and relevant support personnel on Monday (September 7).
BCB cricket operations committee chairman Akram Khan said, the individual practice of national team players will remain shut for two more days. As a result, the cricketers will be allowed to do practice from Wednesday.
