Zimbabwe, thanks to brilliant innings of Wesley Madhevere and Regis Chakabva, have set a challenging target for Bangladesh to win the series.
The hosts scored 193 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs in the third and final T20 at the Harare Sports Club Ground on Sunday (July 25).
Wesley Madhevere hit 54 runs off 36 balls with 6 fours. Regis Chakabva smashed an innings of 48 runs from 22 balls with 6 over boundaries.
Tadiwanashe Marumani (wk) 27 runs off 20 balls while Dion Myers scored 23 runs fom 21 balls.
Ryan Burl (not out) scored 31 runs off 15 balls and Luke Jongwe (not out) hit one run. Skipper Sikandar Raza hit a duck.
For Bangladesh, Soumya Sarkar hit two wickets while Mohammad Saifuddin, Shoriful Islam and Shakib Al Hasan shared a wicket each.
Mentionable, after winning the first Twenty20 and losing the following match, the third T20 has turned into an ‘undeclared final’ for Bangladesh.
