The Bangladesh team of 100 youths with Pranab Mukherjee, President of India, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan
Rashed Anis: One hundred Bangladeshi youths toured India last month at the invitation of the government of the neighbuoring country.
The Bangladesh team left Dhaka on October 13 and returned back home on October 20.
In the 8-day tour, the Bangladeshi youths visited 18 spectacular spots of the country including Bandra Beach, Juhu Beach, Film City in Mumbai, Raj Ghat and Red Ford in Delhi, Taj Mahal and Agra Fort in Agra with several other places in Kolkata.
On October 18, the Bangladesh team was given warm reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official home of the President of India. Pranab Mukherjee, the 13th and current President of India, spent 35 minutes with them. He posed with the Bangladesh team for pictures and delivered a 15-minute speech.
