Staff Correspondent, Khulna: Some 57 members of six forest robber gangs including their chiefs surrendered to the Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan along with their arms and ammunition at Rapid Action Battalion-6 office in Labanchhora of Khulna district on Wednesday.
The members of Rajon Bahini alias Dada Bhai, Amir Ali Bahini, Hannan Bahini, Munna Bahini, Choto Samsu Bahini and Surya Bahini surrendered to the Home Minister.
Khandaker Rafiqul Islam, commanding officer of Rab-6, confirmed the news.
Some 58 forest robbers will be provided with proper assistance for their rehabilitation who surrendered earlier.
