Double budget recommended in sports

Parliament Correspondent: The Standing Committee on Government Assurances, on Tuesday recommended for double budget in country`s sport sectors in the upcoming budget.

The demand came in the14th meeting of the standing committee on the day.

Kazi Keramat Ali, the president of the committee, presided over the meeting.

"In a bid to take away the addicted youths from drugs, the budget should be doubled for them," the committee also recommended, in the meeting.

Members of the committee- Advocate Rahmat Ali, Md Shahiduzzaman Sarkar, Md Abdul Kuddus, Md Abdul Mazid Khan and Mir Mostak Ahmed Robi participated in the meeting.
