Mother-son murder: Probe report on June 4

Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has ordered to submit the probe report on June 4 regarding the murder of a mother and her son in city's Kakrail area.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohamma Ahsan Habib fixed the date as Ali Hossain, sub-inspector of Ramna Police Station and also the investigation officer of the case, failed to submit probe report on Thursday.

On November 1 in 2017, Shamsun Nahar, 46, and her son Shawon, 19, were found dead in a flat of a multi-storey building in the city’s Kakrail area. On information, police went to the spot and recovered their bloodstained bodies.

Later, Ashraf Ali, brother of victim Shamsun Nahar, filed the case accusing the victim’s husband Abdul Karim, Sharmin Akhter Mukta and her brother Al Amin alias Jonny.
