Youth sent to jail for derogatory comment over PM

A Noakhali court sent a youth to jail for his derogatory comment over Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on facebook.

The youth was identified as Ziaul Karim Firoz, 35, son of Nurul Islam of Soyani Togba village under Chatkhil upazila in Noakhali.

Anwarul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chatkhil Police Station, said Firoz was arrested from his home on Tuesday night for his derogatory comment over PM. He was sent to jail through court after filing a case under Digital Security Act.
