Bodies of husband-wife recovered in Barisal

Staff Correspondent, Barisal: Police recovered bodies of a man and his wife from a house of Kaunia in Barisal city on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as construction worker Abdul Kaled Mia, 35, and his wife Mukuli Begum, 28.
A local resident Abus Sattar Mia said no sound of the couple was noticed by their neighbours from morning. Later, they spotted Khaled hanging and his wife lying dead on the bed through an alternative inside door.
Being informed, police recovered the bodies, locals added.
They might have committed suicide over family feud, locals claimed.
Confirming the incident, Kazi Mahabubur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kauni Police Station, said the bodies were sent to morgue for autopsy.
