Economy index shows positive signals

Parliament Correspondent: Finance Minister AMA Muhith said that most of index of macro economy (July-September) are seen upwards, plus national and international projections are showing positive image in the current fiscal year.  

The Minister made the disclosure while presenting report on Budget 2015-16: the first threshold (July-September) at the National Parliament on Sunday evening.

He said that the revenue reached Tk 30,928 crore from Tk 28,219 crore in first threshold of the current fiscal year. The total cost of the government reached Tk 37,124 crore from 36,523 crore.

The Finance Minister also said that the export earnings increased $7,759 million in first three months of the current year which was $7,695 million in previous year.
