`It was very hard knocking off the weight`

Entertainment Desk: Bhumi Pednekar`s dramatic weight loss after her film `Dum Lagake Haisha` has been in the news for some time now.

When the actress came to Delhi to attend one of the shows at the ongoing couture week, she was surrounded by women complimenting her "well-toned figure". Bhumi said, "It was a lot of hard work gaining the weight and it was a lot of hard work knocking it off. I guess you don`t get anything easy in life and I have definitely learnt that over the last two years."

Bhumi has attended many fashion dos in the city and she said that it is thanks to the multiple fashion shows that she understands fashion better now.

"Since last year, I have been to so many fashion shows and my understanding of fashion has definitely improved. Now I understand the fashion lingo and what`s the latest trend. I would have attended each show in Delhi this season but I have to go back to work in Mumbai. Also, I have never experienced the monsoon in Delhi; I have always enjoyed it in Mumbai. If I had had some time I would have experienced the rains in this city," she added.
