Juba Dal leader found dead in Ctg

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Police recovered body of a Juba Dal leader from Haldia area of the district`s Raozan upazila on Friday noon.

The deceased was identified as Abul Hashem, 42, Joint Convener of Raozan Municipality Juba Dal.

Miscreants murdered Hashem after he had been picked up, family claimed.

Sources said miscreants picked Hashem up while he was returning his home from his father-in-law`s house of Haldia on Thursday night. Following morning, he was found dead.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital, sources added.

Duty Officer of Raozan Police Station confirmed recovery of the body while Officer-in-Charge (OC) was not available over mobile phone.
