Staff Correspondent, Barisal: Comparing corruption case with cancer, Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Iqbal Mahmud said, "Corruption case is like cancer. It has no end. A single corruption case may ruin a life, a family or even a lineage."
The ACC chairman made the comment while addressing a discussion in Barisal on Tuesday.
"ACC wants all government officials abide by existing rules and laws and perform their duties properly. Then no complaint will be raised and no case will be filed," Iqbal Mahmud said.
He said the anti-graft body wants to work with human outlook and stop sources of corruption. It prefers to give more attention on the prevention of corruption as it is tough to root out corruption from the country.
