Dhaka’s rail link with Rajshahi, Khulna snapped

Pabna Correspondent: The train communication of Dhaka with Khulna and Rajshahi has remained suspended as a train derailed at Muladuli station in Ishwardi on Saturday noon.

Three bogies of an inter-city train, Chitra, veered-off the track around 1:00pm just after crossing Muladuli station.

A salvage train from Ishwardi railway station of Pabna district reached the spot around 2.30pm to rescue the train.

Pakshi DRM Asim Kumar Takulder said it will take three to four hours to rescue the train.
