Expatriate shot dead in Feni

An expatriate Bangladeshi was shot dead and three others received injuries during a clash between two groups centering supremacy in a Balu Mahal in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni.

The deceased was known as Sirazul Islam.

Locals said, there was a dispute between Chhagalnaiya upazila Awami League joint general secretary Julfikar and Ghopal Union Awami League general secretary Manik over establishing supremacy in Ghopal Balu Mahal. Following the dispute, the two groups locked into a clash today. Meanwhile, the victim Sirajul Islam was shot dead in the spot.  

Confirming the matter, Chhagalnaiya police station officer-in-charge Mezbah Uddin said, police have visited the spot.
