Give MPO facilities to 15 teachers immediately: HC

The High Court directed the government to immediately give monthly payment order (MPO) facilities to 15 teachers of different educational institutions.

The bench of Justice Md Ashfaqul Islam and Justice Mohammad Ali on Tuesday.

Advocate Mohammad Siddique Ullah Mia moved for the petitioner and advocate Md Monirul Islam Rahul and Suhrawardy Saddam assisted while Deputy Attorney General Debashish Bhattacharya stood for the state.

Runa Aktar, Humayun Kabir, Dhanpati Roy, Himandra Rani Roy, Shahana Aktar, Mariom Siddique, Shahina Aktar, Abu Talha Mohammad Azizur Rahman, Aziur Rahman and six others filed the writ petition.
