Throat-slit body recovered in Magura

Magura Correspondent: The throat-slit body of a youth has been recovered from Madhupur village under the district’s Sreepur upazila.

The deceased was identified as Sadhan Boiragi (17), son of Doshrath Boiragi.

   
Sreepur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Islam said that Sadhan used to work in a garage from the house of uncle in Gangnalia area. Four days before he came home. He was sleeping in a verandah outside the house on Friday night. At one stage of the night, the miscreants lifted him and killed him in a field beside the house. On Saturday morning, the locals found the dead body and informed the police. Later, the body was recovered and sent to Magura Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The reason for the murder was not known. A case has been filed with Sreepur Police Station.
