Govt fixes LPG prices

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has fixed the retail prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

BERC Chairman Abdul Jalil announces this at a virtual press conference on Monday.

Now, the retail price of 12.5kg LPG cylinder provided by the state-owned Liquid Petroleum Gas Limited (LPGL) will cost Tk 591 while the 12kg variety of private companies will cost Tk 975.

The new prices will be effective from today, Abdul Jalil said.
