Allama Shafi’s body taken at Hathazari Madrasa

The body of Hefazat-e- Islam Amir Allama Ahmad Shafi has been taken at Hathazari Madrasa in Chattogram.

An ambulance carrying the body of Allama Shafi entered Hathazari Madrasa ground around 9.00am on Saturday. Huge people gathered there to see the body for the last time.

Namaz-e-Janaza of Allama Shafi will be held at Hathazari Madrasa after Zuhr prayer.

Seven magistrates have been assigned to maintain overall law and order situation in four upazilas including Hathazari of Chattogram on the occasion of Namaz-e-Janaza of Hefazat-e-Islam Amir Allama Ahmad Shafi.

Allama Shafi breathed his last around 6:20pm on Friday while undergoing treatment at Asgar Ali Medical College and Hospital in Old Dhaka.
