Habiganj-3 MP Abu Zahir shifted to CMH

Lawmaker of Habiganj-3 constituency Abu Zahir, who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) on October 26, has been shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka by a helicopter.

The helicopter carrying MP Abu Zahir left the Central Eidgah Maidan of Habiganj district for Dhaka at 10:15 am on Wednesday (October 28), confirmed Sudip Das, personal assistant to the lawmaker.

Sudip Das said samples of lawmaker Abu Zahir were collected on Sunday (October 25) and the reports came back positive the following day. Since then, he had been receiving treatment at his residence. But he has been shifted to CMH today for better treatment upon the directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
