Man confesses to killing 3 family members

A man confessed to killing his elder brother, sister-in-law and nephew at Jamshait village of Bangram union under Katiadi upazila of Kishoreganj.

Confirming the matter, Katiadi police station officer-in-charge (OC) M A Jalil around 2:00pm on Friday (October 30) said, Din Islam, the prime accused of the murder case confessed to the killing of his family members.

The victims are- Asad Mia, 55, his wife, Parvin 45 and their eight-year-old son Lion.

OC said, the killer might have killed them over land dispute or family feud. Investigation is underway in this regard.

Earlier on Thursday (October 29), local people spotted a hand covered under soil at the back of the house and informed police, who came unearthed the bodies around 10:30 pm.
