Three killed in private car’s cylinder explosion

At least three people were killed in a private car’s cylinder explosion after a truck hit it at Gopalganj in Sylhet early Wednesday.

The accident took place around 5.30am in Hetimganj area.

Officer-in-Charge of Gopalganj Thana Md Harun Ur Rashid Chowdhury confirmed the news to risingbd.

According to police, the cylinder of a private car exploded after a truck hit it from the back side. Being informed, a unit of fire service rushed to the spot and doused the fire with an effort of half hour and recovered three bodies.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

The dead bodies have been sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
