Strict lockdown being observed in Narayanganj

The first day of the eight-day countrywide lockdown is being observed strictly in Narayanganj.

Law enforcers are seen to set up check posts at different points of the district in order to ensure strict surveillance.

Public transports, markets and shopping malls remained closed although some people were seen to go outside their homes in response to their emergency cases. Few people were seen today swarming the city compared to any other day.

Police, RAB and mobile courts led by executive magistrates are working to check whether anyone is flouting the lockdown rules. Besides, the law enforcers are working very actively to implement the lockdown rules in the district.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Narayanganj Suvash Chandra Saha confirmed the information.
