412 died of Covid-19 at RMCH in 24 days

11 more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

With them, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the hospital rose to 412 in 24 days of this month.

A total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June.

Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Friday (July 23) to 8:00am today, Saturday (July 24).

Of the 11 deaths, seven people died of Covid-19 infections and the rest four died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.

Of the dead, six were in Rajshahi district, two in Pabna, one in Natore, one in Naogaon and one in Kushtia, he added.
