426 die of Covid-19 at RMCH in 25 days

14 more people have died from coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms while undergoing treatment at the corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

With them, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the hospital rose to 426 in 25 days of this month.

A total of 354 people died at the corona unit of the hospital in the month of June.

Confirming the matter this morning, RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani said the deaths were reported in the last 24 hours starting from 8:00am on Saturday (July 24) to 8:00am today, Sunday (July 25).

Of the 14 deaths, ten people died of Covid-19 infections and the rest four died of symptoms similar to that of coronavirus.

Of the dead, eight were in Rajshahi district, three in Pabna and one each Chapainawabganj, Natore and Chuadanga, he added.
