Khulna division reports 31 more Covid-19 deaths

Khulna division reported 31 more coronavirus (Covid-19) deaths in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the division to 2,294.

The deaths were reported between 8:00am on Tuesday (July 27) and 8:00am on Wednesday (July 28).

Besides, some 866 new Covid-19 cases have been detected in the division over the same period, bringing the total cases to 90,549.
Khulna Health Department (Disease Control) Assistant Director Dr Ferdousi Akhter confirmed this information.

According to the office of divisional director of health, a maximum five people died of coronavirus infections in Kushtia district, nine in Khulna, two in Chuadanga, one in Meherpur, one in Bagerhat, six in Jashore, three in Magura and four in Jhenaidah.
