Centers: 105, Results Obtained: 101, Sakku: 48,492, Rifat: 47,863

Voting in elections to Cumilla City Corporation (CCC) ended peacefully on Wednesday (June 15).

Counting is going on following the end of voting. The unofficial results have started to come. 

Out of 105 polling centers, results of 101 centers reached until the report was filed. Of which, ruling Awami League nominated candidate Arfanul Huque Rifat secured 47,863 votes and his rival independent candidate Monirul Huque Sakku got 48,492votes.

Earlier, the voting began at 8:00am and continued until 4:00pm without any break. 

No major allegation of irregularities or violence was reported during the election hours.
