Two passers-by crushed under covered-van in Narsingdi

Two passers-by have been crushed under a covered-van in Narsingdi.The accident took place on Thursday morning in Raipura’s Mahmudabad Bazar area of Dhaka-Sylhet highway.

The deceased could not be identified immediately. Another passer-by was also seriously injured.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhairab Highway Thana confirmed the news.

According to locals, a Sylhet-bound covered-van overturned and ran over three passers-by in the morning. Two died on the spot and one was seriously injured.

Police seized the covered-van.
