JSC, JDC exams won’t be held this year

Junior School Certificate (JDC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will not be held this year.

MA Khair, Information and Public Relations Officer of Education Ministry, confirmed the matter to risingbd.

Earlier, the primary and mass education ministry announced the postponement of Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee Education Completion (EEC) examinations due to the coronavirus infections.

The government closed all educational institutions on March 17 to contain the spread of coronavirus.

The education ministry today issued a circular extending the closure of the schools till October 3.

The decision came from today’s online meeting organised to discuss the education system during the coronavirus pandemic and post-corona education system. Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni chaired the meeting.
