Directives issued to use full name of education institution

The government has issued directives to use full name of educational institutions as the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education thinks using short name is appropriate.

The matter was revealed from an order issued by DSHE in this regard on Tuesday (September 28).

According to the order, various educational institutions are using short names instead of full names for official and other purposes. Such activities are not appropriate. The educational institutions which are using the short name are requested to use the full name of the institution in all the cases.

The order has been sent to field level education officers and principals of public and private colleges and school headmasters.
