India records 3,915 Covid-19 deaths in a day

India has been seeing an unpleasant record of infections and deaths by Covid-19 almost every day.

The country has recorded 414,188 cases in the last 24 hours – which is the highest cases obtained in a day. During this, another 3,915 people died of the virus.

With 414,818 new coronavirus cases, the tally of infections has surged to 2,14,91,598, said the Union Health Ministry on Friday.
With 3,915 people deaths, the number of fatalities has climbed to 234,083. There are about 3.6 million active COVID cases in the country now, the Union Health Ministry added.

According to researchers in India, the virus is most active in the tourist city of Goa at 41 percent as per the two-week study, as a result, COVID has spread alarmingly there. Then there is New Delhi where the virus is active up to 21 percent in the capital.
