World sees lowest Covid-19 deaths in 8 months

The rate of coronavirus infections and deaths has reduced across the world in the last 24-hour count. Lowest record of coronavirus deaths has been reported within around 8 months.

A total of 5,836 people died from coronavirus infections worldwide in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, the death toll in the virus was 6,233 in the previous day. According to international survey organisation Worldometer, a total of 5,757 people died from coronavirus infections on November 01, 2020.

The total number of deaths in the virus rose to 38,88,524 with the new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

Besides, some 2,79,168 people tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 17,95,43,383. But a day before, the number of daily coronavirus cases was 2,95,229.

Meanwhile, some 16,42,44,348 people made recoveries from the virus infections across the world so far.

International survey organisation Worldometer disclosed the information on Tuesday (June 22) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
