8445 more die from Covid-19 worldwide

More than 8,000 more people have died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and about five lakh people have been infected with the virus across the world in the past 24 hours.

A total of 8,445 more people died from coronavirus infections worldwide in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of deaths in the virus to 47,51,259.

Besides, some 4,98,635 people tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) worldwide over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 23,18,93,647.

20,84,86,647 have made recoveries from the diseases so far .

International survey organisation Worldometer disclosed the information on Saturday (September 25) morning.

The first coronavirus outbreak occurred in Wuhan, China, in December of 2019. It started spreading in different countries of the world since then.
