Singapore drops Bangladesh from travel ban list

Singapore has lifted the travel ban for the nationals of six countries including Bangladesh which was imposed to due to the coronavirus infection.
The other countries are India, Pakistan, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
According to Singapore Health Ministry, travelers from the six countries with a 14-day travel history will be allowed to enter or transit through Singapore, from 11.59pm on Oct 26.
These countries will now be placed in Category IV, meaning that arrivals will have to serve a 10-day stay-home notice (SHN) at dedicated SHN facilities.
The ministry also said Malaysia and Indonesia - Singapore's two closest neighbours - are among several countries being upgraded to Category III, from Category IV previously. The others are Cambodia, Egypt, Hungary, Israel, Mongolia, Qatar, Rwanda, Samoa, Seychelles, South Africa, Tonga, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
