Pirojpur Correspondent: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was hurt as drug peddlers attacked on a team of Detectives at Dhuppasha area of the district's sadar upazila on Wednesday night.
The DB official was identified as MD Moinuddin.
Ahmad Mainul Hassan, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Pirojpur sadar circle, confirmed the news.
He said drug peddlers attacked on a team of Detective Branch (DB) of Police while they were conducting an anti-drug drive at Dhuppasha area on Wednesday night, leaving the ASI injured.
He was admitted to Pirojpur Sadar Hospital, he added.
