Rain, thundershower likely

Meteorological Department forecast rain and thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind over a few places across the country in the next 24 hours.

In a regular weather update, the Met office confirmed the matter on Monday (October 19).

Meteorologist Md Aftab Uddin told risingbd, low pressure is not formed yet. However, the low pressure would form over the Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours. Consequently, rainfall activity may increase in the next 72 hours.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country till next October 28.
