Writ for rape arbitration as criminal offence

A writ petition has been filed with the High Court seeking its directives to announce rape arbitration as criminal offence.
Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) advocate Yadia Jaman filed the writ petition on Monday (October 19).
The secretary of the Home Ministry, the secretary of the Law Ministry were made respondents to the writ petition.
