All tourist spots under Forest Department shut down

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park in Gazipur, Dulahazra Safari Park and all tourist spots under Forest Department including Sundarbans have been shut down amid a record surge in coronavirus cases in the country.
The instructions were given by the Forest Department on Friday (April 2).
These tourist centers will be closed for the next two weeks from Saturday (April 3).
Gobinda Roy, Deputy Chief Conservator of Forests, said the Forest Department has directed to stop visitors from entering all the tourist parks including the safari parks, from Saturday to April 15. The next decision will be taken after April 15.
